Evert de Boer
Evert has researched and worked in airline loyalty strategy since 2000. He has collaborated with more than 25 airlines globally on frequent flyer programs in management and advisory roles, and has published numerous articles and white papers on the subject. His latest publication, Strategy in Airline Loyalty, offers a comprehensive overview of the airline loyalty landscape. Evert has conducted multiple program carve-outs and specializes in program financing and valuations.
Mauricio’s experience spans over 25 twenty five years in the areas of payments, loyalty, innovation and startups. Twenty of those years, Mauricio held progressive management positions in market development, sales, commercial planning, marketing, product development and program management, including the Head of Digital Business, Emerging Payments and Loyalty at Itaú Unibanco. When at Multiplus, he was responsible for the kickoff and execution of the strategy and all business related aspects that ultimately lead to a corporate startup who became first loyalty public spin-off and Brazil’s major loyalty coalition network. His prior experience includes several companies such as Cardlytics, Cielo, VeriFone, Flextronics International and DuPont.
Sandra's 30-year career in airline loyalty provides a wealth of industry knowledge and keen insight. As the former head of Global Travel Business Development at Aimia, and having done multiple acquisitions, Sandra brings the unique perspective of the investor. Sandra has done numerous valuation exercises, and lead due diligence on investment targets. In addition, Sandra has worked with many airlines articulating and executing loyalty strategies around the world.
Neil offers deep expertise in the aviation and travel sectors across all commercial disciplines. Neil was the CEO of Virgin Australia’s Velocity Frequent Flyer, building the business into a significant asset which ultimately was partially monetized. Prior to that, Neil headed up the loyalty practice at Seabury, a consulting firm, advising a range of global airline clients on strategic questions. Before Seabury, Neil headed up the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. Neil is Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD) with board experience across commercial, government, academic and non-profit sectors.
Russ has held executive roles both with airlines as well as financial institutions. On the airline side, Russ has managed large and successful loyalty programs for Northwest Airlines and US Airways. At Copa Airlines, Russ was tasked with the launch of a new program. At US Bank, Russ oversaw a portfolio of co-branded credit cards across multiple categories. Russ launched over 20 co-branded credit cards in his career, and oversaw hundreds of partnership agreements. His combined experience provides him with a unique perspective on how to create winning co-brand credit card agreements. Russ also offers proven experience in leading effective teams, developing managers, improving processes, and winning business.
Ken has more than 25 years of legal experience in airline commercial and financial transactions, with particular expertise in loyalty program spinoffs and follow-on transactions, including co-branded credit card programs. Ken has constructed numerous partnership agreement with financial institutions, as well as airline-FFP intra-company agreements.
Rafael Martinez Frausto
Rafael has a wide experience working in loyalty landscape, from advisory roles in high level strategy design, loyalty innovation, financial and investment strategy, to management roles ranging business development, technology design and enterprise implementations. He has collaborated with projects in the airline, banking, hospitality, tech, retail, casinos and F&B industries. He is passionate in exploring new technologies, behavioral science and analytical models to constantly innovate the Loyalty Strategy and User Experience.
Raziel has experience in setting and scaling up tech-based companies and spin-offs, with skills to develop organizations through building teams and fostering innovation cultures. His development product strategy takes advantage from robust technology implementations by building product blocks around the ecosystem for the best user experience.
Chin Xiao Yao
As a former executive of AirAsia BIG Loyalty Program, Xiao Yao’s loyalty experience spans program design, strategic planning, member lifecycle management and analytics. Prior to that, Xiao Yao had worked on numerous strategic projects for leading financial institutions across Southeast Asia during her time with Bain & Company. Xiao Yao holds a Phd from the University of Cambridge, UK.
