Global Pioneers in Airline Loyalty
Evert has researched and worked in airline loyalty strategy since 2000. He has collaborated with more than 35 airlines globally on frequent flyer programs in management and advisory roles, and has published numerous articles and white papers on the subject. His latest publication, Strategy in Airline Loyalty, offers a comprehensive overview of the airline loyalty landscape. Evert has conducted multiple program carve-outs and specializes in program financing and valuations.
As a former executive of AirAsia BIG Loyalty Program, Xiao Yao’s loyalty experience spans program design, strategic planning, member lifecycle management and analytics. Prior to that, Xiao Yao had worked on numerous strategic projects for leading financial institutions across Southeast Asia during her time with Bain & Company. Xiao Yao holds a Phd from the University of Cambridge, UK.
Neil offers deep expertise in the aviation and travel sectors across all commercial disciplines. Neil was the CEO of Virgin Australia’s Velocity Frequent Flyer, building the business into a significant asset which ultimately was partially monetized. Prior to that, Neil headed up the loyalty practice at Seabury, a consulting firm, advising a range of global airline clients on strategic questions. Before Seabury, Neil headed up the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. Neil is Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD) with board experience across commercial, government, academic and non-profit sectors.
With a career spanning more than 20 years, Blandine brings a wealth of experience across finance and strategy mandates. After a few years as an Assistant Professor of Management at a university, Blandine joined Air France where she held positions alternatively in marketing and finance, and demonstrated a key contribution to Flying Blue strategic development. As the CFO of the Flying Blue program at Air France-KLM, she led the complete buildup of Flying Blue Profit Center reporting, and highlighted the strategic and financial contribution of the program. Blandine is also a lecturer at Paris Dauphine University and mentoring a few startups.
Nik is an international business leader specialising in loyalty programs, data monetization and analytics. Formerly he was SVP Asia Pacific at AIMIA both managing the SEA regional business and working with clients across all disciplines in loyalty marketing and consulting. Most recently he designed and built the GetGo coalition lifestyle rewards program for Cebu Pacific Air, an LCC and the largest airline in Philippines. In addition to airline and coalition programs, he has extensive experience in financial services loyalty with payment cards including cobrands, new forms of payment and other financial products.
Raziel has experience in setting and scaling up tech-based companies and spin-offs, with skills to develop organizations through building teams and fostering innovation cultures. His development product strategy takes advantage from robust technology implementations by building product blocks around the ecosystem for the best user experience.
Elton has more than 8 years of experience as a data science and analytics practitioner, with core focus in realizing business value via data-driven solutions across telecommunications, bank, aviation, insurance and fintech industries. He has led the delivery of multiple analytics-focused projects, with direct involvement in every step of the insights delivery from data ingestion to analysis and to business outcome. Specifically in aviation loyalty, Elton previously led a team of analysts in AirAsia BIG, responsible for meeting the day-to-day organizational insight needs. Elton is a trained actuary and holds Part I and II accreditation from the Institute of Actuaries Australia.
Ken has more than 25 years of legal experience in airline commercial and financial transactions, with particular expertise in loyalty program spinoffs and follow-on transactions, including co-branded credit card programs. Ken has constructed numerous partnership agreement with financial institutions, as well as airline-FFP intra-company agreements.
